What's inside
| Tab | What it does for you |
|---|---|
| Setup | Your functions (up to 10: roka to reception, or nikah and walima, or anand karaj; type your own), dates, venues and total budget. All amounts are in ₹; families abroad can pick a home currency (US$, C$, £, €, A$, AED) to see the totals in it too. |
| Budget | Plan by category for each function, with a suggested split for your budget beside it. Booked contracts, paid and "plan not yet paid" fill in from Vendors and Payments, and a category turns red when its contracts go over the plan. |
| Guests | One row per family: people, how many are non-veg or Jain (the rest count as veg), side, group, city and stay needs. Mark Invited, Yes, Maybe or No for each function; the people counts add up for you. |
| Shagun | A shagun / gifts register (shagun, salami, nyota, lifafa) for every function: who gave, how much or what gift, cash or UPI, thank-you sent. Totals by side, thank-yous pending, and a lena-dena lookup by name. |
| Vendors | Quotes side by side, what each includes, who you booked, what you have paid and what is left on each booked contract. |
| Payments | Every advance and instalment with its due date. Overdue payment rows turn light red, and payments due in the next 14 days turn amber. |
| Checklist | 68 wedding tasks from 12 months before to after the wedding (muhurat, caterer tasting, room blocks, baraat, nikahnama or Special Marriage Act notice, marriage registration, thank-yous), each with a "do by" date; late tasks turn red. |
| Dashboard | Days to go, budget used, per-function and per-category totals, plate counts by veg / Jain / non-veg, shagun received, payments due, and a short list of things to check. |

Questions
Do I need Excel?
No. It works in the free Google Sheets app on Android and iPhone and in any browser. An Excel file (2016 or newer) is included too.
Can the whole family use it?
Yes. In Google Sheets, share your copy with the people who help; everyone edits the same sheet.
Can you see our guest list or numbers?
No. Your copy lives in your own Google Drive or computer. We never get access to it.
Does it work for my community's functions?
Yes. In Setup you type your own function names (up to 10), such as mangni, nikah and walima, or anand karaj; the Budget, Guests and Shagun tabs use them.
Is it in Hindi?
The sheet is in simple English with Hindi labels on the main headings. You can type names and notes in any language.
Why is the price different in India and abroad?
Like many apps and online tools, we price for each market: ₹349 in India and US$12 elsewhere, for exactly the same files. If you pay with an Indian UPI ID or Indian card, you can use the India checkout wherever you live.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Write to us at diyaanddot.shop@gmail.com within 7 days of purchase and we'll help. If we can't fix it, we refund the full amount. Duplicate payments, or files that never reach you, are refunded in full. See refunds and terms.
